ORDER HANDLING TIME

The order cut-off time will be 05.00 pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (Sydney).

DELIVERY TERMS

Serene Living Co uses third party logistics to deliver products. We are not responsible if you gave us the wrong address. We are also not responsible if third party logistics are unable to deliver or gain access to the address you supplied.

CHANGE OF ADDRESS

We cannot change the delivery address once it is in transit. If you need to change the place to deliver your order, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order at  hello@serenelivingco.com

CANCELLATIONS

If you change your mind before you have received your order, we are able to accept cancellations at any time before the order has been dispatched. If an order has already been dispatched, please refer to our refund policy.

PARCELS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

If you find a parcel is damaged in transit, if possible, please reject the parcel from the courier and get in touch with our customer service. If the parcel has been delivered without you being present, please contact customer service with the next steps.

Serene Living Co ("we", "us", "our") is the operator of (https://serenelivingco.com) ("Website"). By placing an order through this Website, you will be agreeing to the terms below. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations on our service.

 

1. GENERAL

  • Subject to stock availability. We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website but from time-to-time there may be a stock discrepancy and we will not be able to fulfill all your items at time of purchase.
  • In this instance, we will contact you about whether you would prefer to await restocking of the backordered item or if you would prefer for us to fulfill the available products to you first.

4. DELIVERY TERMS

4.1 Transit Time Domestically

  • In general, domestic shipments are in transit for 3 - 7 days.

4.2 Transit time Internationally

  • Generally, orders shipped internationally are in transit for 7 - 15 days.
  • This varies greatly depending on the location, courier, customs procedures and other factors beyond our control.

4.3 Dispatch Time

  • Orders are usually dispatched within 3 business days once orders are processed.
  • All ordered items are shipped and delivered within 25 - 30 days after placing an order.
  • Our warehouse operates on Monday - Friday during standard business hours, except on national holidays at which time the warehouse will be closed.
  • In these instances, we take steps to ensure shipment delays will be kept to a minimum.

4.4 Change Of Delivery Address

  • For change of delivery address requests, we are able to change the address at any time before the order has been dispatched.

4.5 P.O. Box Shipping

  • Serene Living Co may not be able to ship to P.O. box addresses. We can not guarantee to offer couriers services to these locations. Please email us if you are unsure.

4.6 Military Address Shipping

  • We are able to ship to military addresses using USPS. We are unable to offer this service using courier services.

4.7 Items Out Of Stock

  • If an item is out of stock, we will wait for the item to be available before dispatching your order. Existing items in the order will be reserved while we await this item.

4.8 Delivery Time Exceeded

  • If delivery time has exceeded the forecasted time, please contact our customer service department so that we can conduct an investigation. 

 

5. DUTIES & TAXES

5.1 Sales Tax

  • Sales tax has already been applied to the price of the goods as displayed on the website

5.2 Import Duties & Taxes

  • Import duties and taxes for international shipments may be liable to be paid upon arrival in the destination country. This varies by country, and Serene Living Co encourages you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us.
  • These funds are neither paid to Serene Living Co nor are they set by Serene Living Co rather they are paid to and set by your home country's government as per import/export regulations.
  • Packages are marked with the value of the item as paid by the customer in legal accordance with international postal regulations.
  • We do not mark packages as a gift.
  • To falsify the amounts paid or the contents of the package on customs forms could lead to hefty fines that our business would not be able to handle.
  • We absolutely love what we do and will not engage in any practices that would jeopardize our ability to continue doing what we love.

5.3 Refusing to Pay Duties

  • If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be abandoned, destroyed or returned to the shipper at the customer's expense and there will be no refund issued to the customer.
  • If you're still unsure on whether you'll be subject to customs fees, we'd recommend contacting your local customs office for more information before placing your order. 

 

6. CANCELLATION

  • Customers can cancel their orders within 4 hours after placing an order if they change their mind for any reason.
  • If an order has already been dispatched, please refer to our refund policy 

 

7. LOST / STOLEN PACKAGE

  • Serene Living Co uses third party logistics and is not responsible for lost or stolen packages nor is under any obligation to refund if the item has been marked as delivered. Please consider adding insurance to your order. 

  • Serene Living Co works alongside third party couriers to deliver your packages, if your package is marked as delivered and you have not received it you will need to contact the assigned courier first regarding the matter and our customer service team.

  • It is the customer's obligation to ensure a safe drop location is provided to the courier or they are home to claim the item upon delivery.  
  • If a package has been determined to have been delivered and couriers provide evidence, the item may have been stolen, lost or misplaced. 
  • If the item has made an attempted delivery, pick up is not completed in a timely manner and a return to sender has been initialized, the re-shipment costs are the responsibility of the customer. 
  • Packages that are marked as in transit cannot be provided a refund until the package is in possession or classified as lost by couriers.

     

    8. TRACKING NOTIFICATION

    • Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking link from which they will be able to follow the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates made available by the shipping provider. 

     

    9. CUSTOMER SERVICE

    10. ERRORS

    • Prices and availability of products and services are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected where discovered, and we reserve the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions including after an order has been submitted and whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged.
    • If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, we will issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge. Individual bank policies will dictate when this amount is credited to your account. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return it in accordance with our Return Policy.

     

    11. FRAUD

    • By purchasing insurance online, you certify that all information provided is accurate and truthful. The submission of a false, fictitious or fraudulent statement may result in imprisonment of up to 5 years and a fine of up to $10,000.00 (18 USC 1001). In addition, a civil penalty of up to $5,000.00, and an assessment of twice the amount falsely claimed may be imposed (31 USC 3802).
